Joan Ponç's latest works, to which these etchings belong to, are born from his most inner fears and joy. By that time, Ponç carried a diabetes that left him temporarily one eye blind. This said, the colours used and the forms turn to images more or less kind, depending on the optimism or negativism of the moment in which Joan Ponç was confronting his illness.
