Multiple decollage hand signed and numbered by the artist. Limited edition of 125 decollages numbered in Arab numerals, 50 in Roman numerals and some P.A. Includes embossing stamp of the Fondazione Mimmo Rotella and NordEst.
Work referenced in the catalog raisonné "Mimmo Rotella - Multipli Décollages" edited by Silvana Editoriale, on pages 114 and 115.
Even if these decollages by Mimmo Rotella are created through a technical process such as is the screen printing, the fact that the artist hand finished each one by tearing apart layers, makes each one unique, as there are no two works with the same torn.
"King Creole" is the last of the three black and white films Elvis starred in. It was also his favourite and the longest movie of the King of Rock's career. Directed by Michael Curtiz in 1958, to this musical drama belongs what is considered as Elvis's biggest and best role.
