Hans Hartung's passion for painting had no limits. He was wounded in 1944 during the WWII and lost one of his legs. Because of this his studio had to be reconfigured for his new condition, but Hartung's production never stopped. Two years before his death, the artist suffered a brain stroke that confined him to a wheel chair. This limitation didn't stop him from creating 360 works the year before passing away.
