John Kacere's work has always been focused on the mid-section of the female body in her lingerie. Even though his images show an intimate scene of these misterious ladys, Kacere's photorrealism creates a psicological boundary between the character and the viewer, this is how his works can be seen more as a still life or a landscape than a portrait.
John Kacere has been a reference for many other artists of even other disciplines such as, for example, Sofia Coppola, who took inspiration from this artists to create the opening to her acclaimed movie "Lost in translation".
