Multiple decollage hand signed and numbered by the artist. Limited edition of 125 decollages numbered in Arab numerals, 50 in Roman numerals and some P.A. Includes embossing stamp of the Fondazione Mimmo Rotella and NordEst.

Even if the decollage involves being aggressive to the image by tearing it apart, Rotella has such a sensibility while treating images, that he roconverts them instead. The face of John Wayne is still there and so is the film promoted but it no longer looks an advertisement.
Regarding this particular piece, Stagecoach was directed in 1939 by John Ford. This western stars Claire Trevor and John Wayne in his breakthrough role. It was awarded with two Oscars and is currently preserved in the US National Film Registry, for being deemed as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress.
