Although Andy Warhol is best known for his portraits of celebrities and everyday objects, his Sunset series reveals a more introspective and poetic side of the artist. In these works, Warhol moves away from the pop dynamism of consumer products to focus on the contemplation of light, color, and the atmosphere surrounding a fleeting moment: the sunset.
